Occupational Health
Occupational health is a branch of health science and it focuses on identifying, assessing, and controlling the harmful factors present in the workplace, along with a range of health care for the health of the workplace and the health of the workforce.
The goals of occupational safety and health programs include fostering a safe and healthy work environment. Occupational Health may also protect co-workers, family members, employers, customers, and many others who might be affected by the workplace environment.
Duties of Occupational Health:
a) Technical supervision of professional staff to comply with occupational health standards
b) Regular visits to different departments, identification of occupational health problems, and decisions to resolve them
c) A review of the work environment in terms of the existence of various types of harmful factors (sampling, continuous assessment, and evaluation) and planning to eliminate them
d) Monitor the correct implementation of workplace health regulations
e) Providing and compiling content and educational materials including brochures, posters, publications, films, and ... for employees and managers for occupational health education
f) Study and analysis of workplace accidents and problems and efforts to eliminate or prevent them
g) Supervise all health care items such as kitchens, dining rooms, toilets, and ...
h) Provide a report on the status of occupational health, diseases, and problems in this area for managers and relevant organizations
